Although our company makes all kinds of Belgian waffles, our true specialty is
the Liege Waffle, also called “Gaufre de Liège” in French. For centuries, the
city of Liège in Belgium has been known throughout Europe for its waffles.

I was born in Belgium, near Liege and grew up eating those
waffles. As a big waffle fan, I spent time perfecting the Liege waffle recipe
to bring you the taste and authenticity of the Belgian waffles I grew up with.

Unlike others, our waffles are freshly made on-site and not
imported from Belgium. What makes our liege waffle unique is the Belgian pearl
sugar that we use in the waffle recipe. To bake the liege waffle, we also use a
specialized cast iron press that crushes the dough into a waffle shape and
caramelizes the sugar to give the Liege waffle its delightful sweetness.
